Around here

Around here we are getting all dolled up for weddings. We like getting dressed up but rarely have an occasion for it. It doesn’t help that my family is very antiformal; even during the holidays. I’ve been told that when I was younger the only articles of clothing I would wear were dresses. #truestory

Around here we are crazy busy with school. I just wrapped up filming for one of my class projects. Yep, betcha didn’t think that getting your masters in nutrition came with an emphasis in acting. Yea neither did I. It wasn’t that bad, in fact I felt more at ease in front of the camera than I do standing in front of class giving a presentation. When it debuts on national TV (read: YouTube) I’ll be sure to inform you.

Around here we are making more crazy over the top holiday decorations. Again, #stresscrafting.

Around here we became parents to a furbaby. More on that tomorrow.

Around here we are celebrating someone’s 27th birthday with a surprise party complete with homemade lasagna and ending the night with rootbeer floats, pumpkin pie and a round of the sticky note game. Kinda like the game headbandz, only our version is way more fun and we use sticky notes.

On the store front we just launched our Holiday cards. We switched to a more local printer, and my cousin helped us out with some of the designs and I couldn’t be more excited with the way they came out.

Also, the student nutrition organization on my campus decided to feature me in their quarterly newsletter placing emphasis on EAT! I’m calling it our first in print publication.

I’m planning on getting a jump start with my new years resolution (posting regularly on this blog) and starting now.
