CHRISTMAS 2019 | This will be our 3rd Christmas in our little apartment. We’ve got decorating for the holidays down – we know where the tree will go and where certain decorations are put up. My favorite part, aside from the real tree we get each year, are our stockings I made a couple years back. And even though we don’t have a fireplace to hang them over, I think they look pretty good on our bookcase. Last year we added the wreaths to the bedroom doors. I picked up the wreaths, and the red bows on sale from Michaels last year after Christmas, added ribbon we already had and called it a day. I like the added pop of ‘festive-ness’ it adds to our place. The cats even get into the spirit with their cat scratcher / cardboard house we got from Target last year. It’s not a lot (seriously, all our decorations fit into 2 storage bins) but it’s all special and it always makes it seem so cozy with all the decorations.
